Harrison and Tecumseh

William Henry Harrison and Tecumseh met on the lawn in front of Grouseland, Harrison's Vincennes home during August of 1811. The meeting was unsuccessful in settling any issues between the two represented cultures and nearly came to blows at one point. This meeting is reenacted each year during the muster. The tension is high as the two discuss the future of the land that is today Indiana.
